Driving Directions to Almería Airport from Almería

Take the AL-12 east from Almería towards the airport to N-347, and then take exit 7 from C. Autovia del Aeropuerto. The drive is approximately 12 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Driving Directions to Almería Airport from Aguadulce

There are two options for how to get to the airport from Aguadulce. The shortest route (20 km/12.4 mi) is the AL-12 via Almería, but it is often the route that takes the longest time, around 30 minutes depending on traffic. The longer route (30 km/18.6 mi) is via the E-15/A-7 to the N-347, exit 456. This route is usually slightly quicker at just over 20 minutes depending on traffic.

Parking at Almería Airport

Almería Airport has close to 700 (679) parking spaces available for their visitors. Parking here does not require any booking in advance, you may enter the parking lot normally and pay upon exiting the area. However, it is possible to book online in advance and it offers direct discounts for the stay.

The P1 parking offers an enclosed area with covered parking spaces in a parking lot located in front of the airport terminal, and it is ideal for collecting or dropping off travelers or for short to mid term stays.

The parking area is managed and has security personnel. It is convenient, exclusive and secure, and in a good location next to the terminal.

Battery starters are available when needed.

Parking Without Advanced Booking

When entering the parking lot collect a ticket in the ticket machine. Before collecting the vehicle upon return insert the ticket in the pay machine and pay the parking fee. Collect the vehicle and put the stamped ticket in the machine at the exit to lift the barrier.

Parking With Advanced Booking

To book your parking in advance download the Aena App and go to the "Book your Car Park" section, or alternatively go the http://parking.aena.es website, or call + 34 91 321 10 00.

Bookings have to be made a minimum of 3 hours prior to arrival at the car park.

Booking in advance does not give access to a specific parking space. Vehicles can be parked in any free space in the car park that is dedicated to the specific type of vehicle.

When arriving at the car park it is important to check the ticket received upon entrance so the localizer has been printed on it, if it has, simply park the vehicle in a chosen space and upon return pay the parking in an automatic cash machine or through the Aean App. If the localizer has not been printed, park the vehicle and upon the return go to the manual desk to pay the parking fee.

The system will not issue a ticket for customers that have the Payment by Registration service activated as the vehicle will get automatic access.

If you use the Aena car parks frequently it might be a good option to join the Aena Customer Club.

Benefits for Aena Customer Club members includes a 10% discount on all advanced bookings.

For stays without an advanced booking the Aena Customer Club can enjoy a discount if scanning their boarding passes at one their ATMs or in the App, as well as first class car park stays (next to the terminal - where available) for the same price as at the General Car Park. It is also possible to get up to 1 day of parking for free, per stay, at either the General Car Park or the First Class Car Park.

Another benefit is the options of mobile payment or Payment by Registration which means no need to go to the ATM to exit the car park upon return.

Parking Fees at Almería Airport

The parking rates at P1 at Almería Airport are very reasonable with a rate of less than 1€ for 30 minutes with a maximum rate of 12€ for up to 4 days of parking. The daily rate from day 5 and onwards is less than 10€.

Bus and Coach Park at Almería Airport

Almería Airport offers parking spaces for buses and coaches. It has easy access through the arrival's floor for arriving travelers, and it is free of charge to use it for tour operators.
